Buy it once
This is the machine you buy when you have decided drip coffee is the thing you care about and you never want to think about the machine again. It is fast, it holds proper brew temperature, and people are still running theirs after fifteen years. What stings is that $369 gets you no timer, so the machine that costs more than most espresso setups cannot have coffee ready before you get downstairs. We would still buy it, and we would still grumble about that every morning.
