Ninja Luxe Café Premier review
Updated 2026-06-13
Ninja's 3-in-1 machine (ES601) makes espresso, drip and cold brew from one body, with a built-in conical burr grinder, a built-in dosing scale and a hands-free automatic milk frother.
Our opinion
7.8/10
Surprisingly serious
We went in expecting a gimmick and came out impressed. A built-in scale and real 9 bar non-pressurised baskets at this price are not normal, and the hands-free frother genuinely works. The trade is a quirky group head and a lot of electronics to look after. If you want one machine that does espresso, drip and cold brew without a second thought, this is a clever buy.

What works
- +Grinder, scale and frother built in, so it is a true one-box setup
- +Non-pressurised baskets and 9 bar brewing are closer to enthusiast gear than the price suggests
- +Does drip and cold brew as well as espresso
The catch
- −The deeply recessed group head and unusual portafilter limit accessory swaps
- −More automation means more parts to clean and, eventually, to fail
What owners say
Recurring themes from public owner discussion (video reviews, r/espresso threads, owner forum discussion), paraphrased. Checked 2026-06-13.
Comes up as praise
- +The built-in scale and guided dosing take the guesswork out of a first machine
- +Automatic frother makes consistent microfoam with no skill
- +One footprint replaces an espresso machine, a drip maker and a cold brewer
Comes up as gripes
- −The proprietary group head and baskets make aftermarket accessories hard to find
- −It is large on the counter for what is still a single-boiler-class machine
